Fiat Linea Launched in India

Fiat, the Italian car manufacturer, finally launches it most anticipated Linea in India. The car is introduced in both petrol and diesel versions.


Celebrating the launch of the Linea, Fiat India CEO Rajeev Kapoor said, “Fiat has kept its promise of making this an exciting year for its customers. The launch of the Linea is the first in the line of three launches that Fiat will undertake this year, the other two being Bravo and Grande Punto.” He also added that the company has put in all assiduous efforts and technical expertise to design this car to ensure that it appeals to a wide range of Indian car buyers.


Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Kapoor also said, “The car has met with strong success across the world and although Linea has been designed with a strong Italian style, we have also taken into consideration local Indian tastes and requirements and have incorporated this into the Indian Linea.”


The car is designed with elegance and excellence to create a technological marvel. The flowing lines, ultra spacious cabin, advanced safety features, revolutionary car technologies, and high levels of comforts makes the car a true showstopper.


The petrol version of the car is powered with a FIRE petrol engine and the diesel counterpart with an advanced multijet engine. Both the engines make a power statement, delivering outstanding performance and unmatched mileage.


Linea will be manufactured at Fiat’s Ranjangaon facility near Pune. Available in four exciting colours, this new car incites curiosity, thrill, beauty, and elegance. The car has made its entry with five petrol and five diesel variants with the price tag ranging from Rs 5 Lakh to Rs 6 Lakh and Rs 6 Lakh to Rs 8 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.
