Hyundai i10 Records Three Lakh Sales

Hyundai Motor India marks another milestone in its successful journey with 3 Lakh sales of Hyundai i10. The global 'Made in India' car from Hyundai was launched on 31st October 2007 and went global in December 2007.

According to the company's official out of the 3 Lakh i10 cars sold, over 1.44 Lakh cars have been soled in the Indian car market and around 1.56 Lakh units were exported to over 100 countries. The Hyundai i10 was exported across Latin America, Middle East, European Union, and South East Asia. It is believed that Hyundai i10 has achieved the fastest 3 Lakh sales amongst its competitors.

Commenting on the occasion Sr. VP Marketing & Sales of Hyundai, Arvind Saxena, said "Hyundai Motor India Ltd has constantly focused on providing the best for its customers be it design, technology or the best value for money proposition. Hyundai i10 with all its powerful technologies become an undoubted segment leader. The car has also won the 'Indian Car of the Year' (ICOTY) award in 2008 from a jury comprising of the most respected automotive journalists in India.
