Honda Siel Cars India has launched an advanced version of its premium sedan Honda Accord in India. The all-new Accord is introduced with a 3.5-litre i-VTEC engine is priced between Rs 24.8 lakh and Rs 25.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Honda Accord will be available in two variants, V6 3.5 and V6 3.5 Inspire, and both the variants are complaint to Euro 4 emission norms. According to the Automotive Research Association of India the new car will give a mileage of 10 km/l.
The New Accord is ardently designed with sophistication. It makes a commanding presence with its aerodynamic contours, bold aggressive look, thrusting nose, muscular strokes, sleek headlights, distinctive front grill, stylish twin exhausts, and 17" alloy wheels. The spacious interior cabin is well–appointed with woody panel and comfortable features.
The unique attributes of the new car are the VCM (Variable Cylinder Management) and VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) technology. The VCM technology enables flexible use of cylinders to deliver maximum power and the VSA technology during inappropriate steering conditions help brake individual wheels and reduce engine power.
The company however feels that the older version of the Accord will experience better sales performance. Commenting on the same, Vice-President (Marketing) Jnaneswar Sen, said, “We expect the sales of earlier version of Accord with 2.4 litre engine in higher numbers than this new Accord.”
