General Motors, after the successful journey of it premium hatchback Chevrolet Aveo U-VA, launched a new variant for it on June 5th called the Aveo U-VA 1.2LS Techno. It is priced at Rs 4.36 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). The launch of the new car reflects the strong and still-stable base of GM in India.
Now a fastest growing brand in the country, Chevrolet has a long line-up of models that covers all the car segments below the luxury segment. The Aveo U-VA Techno is a limited-edition variant of the Aveo U-VA and has added features such as reverse warning system, body-colored door handles and outside mirrors, remote keyless entry, anti-theft alarm, 2-DIN music system with MP3 player and USB port, and a sporty rear spoiler.
Like all other variants of Aveo U-VA, the Techno too is powered by a 1.2-litre SOHO engine and comes with five speed manual transmission. Designed by Italdesign Giugiaro Studio, a motor car design pioneer, the car has very sporty exteriors - full wheel covers, body coloured tailgate handle, and both sides internally adjustable side view mirrors. The luxurious interiors include carbon fibre finish on door trims and power window switches, soft-feel fabric, and dual storage on IP. The Aveo U-VA Techno is priced at Rs 4.36 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).
GM has launched a major networking campaign "there for you, there for India" which is expected to boost consumer confidence in India and strengthen their belief in the Chevrolet brand. The campaign is a guide to resolving issues related to investments, service networks in the country, new car launches, and spare parts. GM India has two more new car launches planned for this year and continues to assure its customers that all is fine for GM in India.
