General Motors India has introduced an Opel Exchange scheme for the existing Opel Astra and Opel Corsa models. GM India has announced that under the new scheme, customers can trade their Opel cars for Chevrolet brands. This buy back scheme will help all the existing Opel owners to acquire a new Chevrolet model for their old Astra or Corsa cars.

P Balendran, Vice President of GM India said, "With the buyback scheme, we are giving an opportunity to our loyal customers to enjoy the Chevrolet experience. Our goal is to continue to reach out to our customers both new and old and provide them the best and the latest cars. Astra and Corsa were sold for ten and seven years, respectively, before introducing Chevrolet brand to India."

Customers who wish to avail this scheme have to get their cars inspected by GM-certified engineers at any of the GM dealerships across the country. An offer will be made on these cars based on the engineer's assessment. The offer will be based on the physical condition and model-year of their car. In addition, customers will also be offered free accessories worth Rs 10,000 by the dealer under the Opel exchange scheme.

Under this customer loyalty scheme, the company has entered into a financing arrangement with some of the public and private sectors banks to offer low EMI schemes. Moreover, the banks will be offering friendly financing packages and attractive pay out schemes.
