Mercedes-Benz India, the German luxury carmaker, has launched its special edition C-Class model in the country.
“The C-Class has been the star of young achievers and dynamic individuals whose lifestyles are a celebration of aspiration, ambition and drive,” said Wilfried Aulbur, company's Managing Director and CEO.
Mercedes-Benz will produce only 60 limited edition C-Class models in order to maintain its exclusivity. The company will be launching both the petrol as well as the diesel version of the model and the special edition C-Class model will be priced between Rs 28.46 lakh and Rs 31.30 lakh.
Mercedes-Benz was once the largest luxury car manufacturer of the country now it has been pushed behind by BMW. The company has tough competition from many other luxury car manufacturers in the country too, but it is able to sustain its position among the top three luxury car manufacturers of the country and is trying to reach out to the top position it had once adorned. The company its business in the country and had announced plans to invest Rs 150 crore in network expansion in the country earlier this week.
