Hyundai Motors’s flagship model the Santro will get a makeover and will be relaunched in India by December.
Hyundai entered the Indian car market in 1998 with the introduction of the Santro, which stood against the Maruti Suzuki Zen. Since its launch in 1998, Hyundai Santro has had three major facelifts till date.
The new 2010 Hyundai Santro will come with an upgraded 1.1L engine and will be Euro IV complaint. The face lifted Santro will get new grilles and chrome inserts rounded headlamps with integrated indicators as well as revamped front fenders. The rear end will adorn new tail lights and elegant body-coloured bumpers. The doors will also get a new look with the new pull type grab handles.
Even the interiors will be changed in the new 2010 Hyundai Santro as it will get a new instrument cluster, new rotary control for the air conditioner and a bigger boot. The anti-roll bars are improved for better handling and driving comfort.
The price of the face-lifted version of the Santro is likely to remain the same.
