Mercedes-Benz India plans to infuse Rs 150 crore for expansion of its network expansion and upgrade its distribution partners in this fiscal year.
Talking about it to reporters in Hyderabad recently, Dr. Wilfred Aulbur, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz India said that it plans to extend its network operations in India. It would increase its presence in to 45 cities from the current 25 cities in India.
Dr. Aulbur inaugurated a new state-of-the-art workshop Adishwar Auto Diagnostics at Mahavir Motors, Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The workshop is equipped with high quality Mercedes Benz equipments and trained manpower. It has been built to Mercedes Benz world class standards. The workshop can service a maximum of 16 cars in one day, and will help speed up the time for service and maintenance.
In addition to these services the workshop also offers services among which include the body and paint repair, and wheel alignment. The technical staff at Adishwar Auto Diagnostics has been given training by Mercedes-Benz to give quality service it its Andhra customers.
The reason Secunderabad was chosen because of its proximity to Hyderabad which has a high concentration of Mercedes cars. Apart from these sales are rising in the nearby Vijaywada and neighbouring areas. Hyderabad alone is home to 1,200 Mercedes-Benz cars.
