Carnation and DC to Redesign Cars

There is now a new choice for the Indian car customers who can get their normal cars re-designed. This is made possible by a partnership between the former Maruti Suzuki MD Jagdish Khattar owned Carnation Auto entering and ace auto designer, Dilip Chhabria. This service will be available at affordable prices.

"We will customize cars at affordable prices and meet customers' aspirations to change their regular cars. Our aim is to make customization business a mass market one. Like the US market, where 5% cars sold are customized, we are expecting a similar potential in India in the next few years," said Jagdish Khattar, CMD Carnation Auto.

Carnation Auto will begin the sales of customizing car kits that has been made by Chhabria's DC Design. And they will be priced at Rs 80,000 for Tata Nano, Rs 45,000 to Rs 60,000 for Maruti Suzuki and between Rs 60,000 to Rs 75,000 for the Honda City. These changes will be done to enhance space, comfort, and add new entertainment features based on the customer's demands.

Toyota Innova having refreshed interiors, latest entertainment features, and improved interactive functions aiming the businessmen will cost Rs 4.95 lakh.

These kits comprise of front and rear bumpers, side skirting, bonnet enhancements, and fog lamps and alloy wheels. These kits will be obtainable at all the 11 Carnation Auto outlets, and service backup and warranty will also be provided for the kits.
