The Carmaker, GM India, has launched its Chevrolet mid size luxury sedan, Cruze. "The Cruze has been receiving rave reviews since its recent debut in some other markets. We expect it to perform well against the established D-segment players," General Motors India President and Managing Director Karl Slym told reporters here.
Already, 1,100 units of the car are been booked. And the company received this huge number of booking even before it was launched. The Chevrolet Cruze is available in two variants namely LT and LTZ. Both the variants will be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine. It will have 2.0 VCDi similar to the one present in Chevrolet Captiva. Cruze has a 5-speed manual transmission and is built on the GM's global Delta 2 platform. The car is priced between Rs. 10.99 lakh and 12.45 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). The company has informed that the launch of the petrol version of car will be soon followed.
