Maruti Suzuki, country’s largest car manufacturer is expected to give a 'Uniq' touch to its entry level and the oldest model Maruti 800. The company will be rolling out ‘M800 Uniq' as a limited edition.
This new car will bare an extra cost of Rs 5,200 over the regular Maruti 800 AC model which is priced at Rs 2,11,176 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Maruti 800 Uniq will be enhanced with the unique features like body graphics, new beige upholstery, trendy door trims with fabric patch, smart lower console box, rear package tray and stylish dome decal. The idea of this limited edition model is to offer distinctive choice to its customers especially the youngsters.
The car will be available only in AC variant and will formally be seen in the car showrooms from August 4.
Maruti 800, one of the oldest models in India was launched 25 years ago and till date the company has sold over 25, 00,000 units and exported over 183,000 units.
The launch of this new car model is expected to push the Maruti 800 sales further, which saw a decline of 13.72 per cent at 5,362 units as against 6,214 units in the same month last year.
