Toyota Kirloskar Motors, Japanese car manufacturer, expects higher car sales by the end of this fiscal year. The company aims to sell around 60,000 units in the Indian car market by the end of March 2009.
In response to fulfill its aim, Toyota, is gradually strengthening its operations and activities in the domestic market. Launch of tenth generation Toyota Corolla, christened as Toyota Corolla Altis, is also an essential step towards fulfillment of the company's goal.
Toyota Corolla Altis is a completely new version of the old Corolla with attractive and futuristic features and better engine technology. The newly launched sedan is expected to boost car sales in the market and will definitely help Toyota reach its desired goal of selling 60,000 units.
According to the company’s resources, Toyota had completed a sales target of 50,000 units the previous fiscal year and aims to sell 60,000 new cars in India. The company has high hopes and expectations from the upcoming festive season.
