Hyundai i10 has made a remarkable place in the Indian car market. The demand for i10 is increasing tremendously in the Indian as well as overseas market. To meet the demands of customers, the company has currently opened a third shift in their plant in south India to meet the growing demand for this compact car.
Hyundai is also planning to make India manufacturing hub for such compact vehicles. This attractive hatchback was launched in October 2007 and ever since then it has sold more than 172,000 units of i10.
According to Hyundai Motor India’s Managing Director, H.S. Lheem, “The introduction of the new shift will help us meet demand and help us capture a bigger share of the market”.
So Hyundai is geared up to strengthen its presence in the Indian market. It is also coming with couple of new i-series launches like i20 is going to be rolled by year-end and i30 and i40 would be launched in the coming months.
