Mitsubishi is popular for its SUV’s like Pajero and Montero. Now it’s all set to launch the much-awaited Outlander SUV in India soon. Mitsubishi is known for its legendary contributions like the Lancer and the Pajero.
Mitsubishi is one such company that manufacturers rationally good-looking vehicles with astounding technology. The SUV was launched in 2001, was called as Mitsubishi Airtrek, and was consequently renamed as the Outlander in 2003. The SUV comes packed with compact exterior dimensions and good interior space. The car comes with a host of features like LED tail lamps, satisfying interior, more legroom, 40/60 split seats, 50:50 four-wheel drive via a selector knob on the dashboard.
The Outlander is power-driven by a 2.4-litre MIVEC petrol engine that churns out 168 bhp and is well prepared to match the Indian conditions.
Finally, the Outlander is set to give a fair competition to Honda CR-V and Chevrolet Captiva. So need to just wait and see how well it will be accepted by the Indian car market.
