Super luxury car manufacturer, Bentley Motors, plans to put extra focus on the growing Indian car market. This expansion is aimed at boosting car sales during the slowdown in the developed markets.

In the past five months, Bentley has sold nearly about 100 luxury cars in India and plans to take this number even higher. The company feels that India is a highly potential market in the long run because of its strong growing economy and buoyant auto market.

With these plans, Bentley, introduces the world’s fastest car, Continental Flying Spur Speed, in India. This new car is introduced through Bentley’s Indian dealership and will be available at a price tag of Rs 2.5 crore including import duty.

The new car is capable of running a top speed of 320 kmph, covering 0-100 kmph in just a span of 4.8 seconds.

Bentley targets to sell nearly about 10 units in the domestic market coupled with the other four Bentley cars the company is already selling in India. In future, the company also has plans to increase its car range in the country to tap the market with high-end car technology and advancements.
