Renowned car manufacturer Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has started a campaign titled ‘No to Counterfeit’ aims at creating awareness among the people about the after effect of using fake or duplicated automobile parts.

The campaign was started on Nov. 1 and will stay on till Nov. 30. This campaign has been executed across Toyota’s wide spread network of 68 3S (sales, service and spare parts) units across the country. The company will educate its customers about the risk of using duplicate car components with the help of banners, posters, key product leaflets, and badges.

Mr. K. Kuroda, Senior General Manager, Customer Service Division, TKM said, “The one month long awareness campaign is organised annually and supports Toyota’s global policy of providing a more comfortable and safe ride to its esteemed customers. The campaign will also highlight the malfunctions of cars like higher fuel consumption, poor vehicle performance, sudden breakdowns and other road safety hazards with the use of fake car parts.”
