Mahindra & Mahindra, a leading SUV manufacturer, is all set to make its debut in the American market with its Scorpio.
Mahindra Scorpio is one of the top most and largest selling SUVs in the country. After rejoicing the success in India, the company makes a gradual move to US. In between its journey from India to America, Mahindra has a desire to launch this car in the world’s second largest car market, China.
China is not new to Mahindra as the company already has its trucks on the roads there. Now, it plans to introduce its successful SUVs to the Chinese car market and strengthen its presence in across the globe.
Further to the Scorpio, the company is also evaluating options to roll out Bolero, Xylo, and pick up trucks on Chinese roads.
Pawan Goenka, President (automotive sector) of Mahindra & Mahindra, said that although China is a very significant car market, it is restrictive because of stringent government regulations. He also stated that the company is evaluating all possible opportunities to get through the regulations and expand its presence in the country.
Mahindra & Mahindra is also expanding its reach in other international markets including Africa, Europe, Latin America, and North America.
