Car Manufacturers Follow Nano

Car manufacturers like Mitsubishi and Honda follow Nano to Gujarat. Nano project is Gujarat is fast paving way for global car manufacturers to establish their manufacturing plants in the state.

After Tata Motors has shifted its small car project to Gujarat, Japanese auto manufacturers also desires to make investment in the state and set their own establishments.

Officials from both the car companies met the Managing Director of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation, Maheshwar Sahu, in Japan with an aim to transform their desires to reality. These officials also met the 11-member Gujarat delegation that includes industrialists, senior government officials, and representatives from Gujarat-based corporate.

The delegation from Gujarat visited Tokyo and Seoul to meet representatives of Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA ) for further growth of the state with respect to the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit.

The Gujarat state government has been struggling hard to sell the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) to Japanese auto giants.
