After the government has reduced the taxes, car manufactures are in the race to lower their car prices. Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai being a step ahead have already brought down their car prices.
Chief executive officer of Mahindra Renault, Nalin Mehta, said, “We are offering a uniform discount of Rs 60,000 on the car, which is a mix of direct cash discount from us and the benefit arising out of the CENVAT rate cut.”
The company announces the price of the base variant, 1.4 GL (petrol), to be reduced from Rs 4.72 Lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) to Rs 4.12 Lakh. Likewise, the price of the base variant of 1.5 DLE has been reduced to Rs 5.15 Lakh from Rs 5.75 Lakh.
Mahindra-Renault also announces an additional discount of Rs 10,000 under exchange scheme. As per company’s official, these discounts rated on the Logan are available till December 27.
