Volkswagen is all set to roll out the facelifted versions of its Polo hatch and Vento saloon in India very soon. The refreshed Highline diesel models are expected to arrive in India by the second half of September.
Besides new alloy wheels and black inserts in the headlights, the new polo Highline diesel and Vento oil burner gets added spunk and a new, attractive price tag.
The Polo Highline is now priced at Rs. 6.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Vento Highline costs Rs. 9.89 lakh. The Polo Highline diesel price has been slashed by Rs. 65,000 while the Vento Highline oil burner price has been reduced by Rs. 20,000.
Of the many upgrades, the new Polo gets an interesting facelift on the inside and comes with added features like a leather gear knob and handbrake lever, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity and speed-sensing volume control, a new music system with USB, and audio controls on the steering wheel.
Arvind Saxena, Managing Director, Volkswagen India, “The introduction of new features in the Polo and the Vento will further excite the customers as both the car lines will offer much more value now. The introduction of these features will pave the path for higher volumes for these car lines.”
