Mercedes-Benz launches its first premium compact car the B-Class in India. The new B-Class is the perfect blend of sportiness, style and safety. It is going to create a new section of “Sports Touring” for premium compact cars as it combines the adaptability of a MUV, dynamic performance of a SUV and the ride quality of a sedan. It is available in two variants B 180 and the B 180 Sport and is priced between Rs 21.49 lakhs and Rs 24.87 lakhs (All prices are Mumbai ex showroom). This is one of the most fuel efficient cars in the segment with a fuel efficiency of 14.81 kmpl (As per ARAI).
Mercedes-Benz B-Class exhibits the sporty design coupled with 7G-DCT, dual clutch transmission with paddle shift. It is loaded with many safety features like 7 airbags including a knee airbag, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist System (BAS), Acceleration Skid Control (ASR), Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Attention Assist and a tyre pressure loss warning indicator. The other features present are panoramic sunroof, perforated disc brakes, Bi Xenons, dual exhaust and special alloy wheels.
