Jaguar Land Rover marked the 50 years of James Bond series by showcasing one of its Land Rover Defenders at 2012 Paris Motor Show. Apparently, this Land Rover is an important part of Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment’s upcoming motion picture “Skyfall” that is due for release on 2nd November 2012.
The Double Cab Pick Up will be shown on the Land Rover stand during the second press day on Friday 28 Sept.
Buzz is that Jaguar Land Rover has provided over 75 vehicles to the “Skyfall” production. The list includes vehicles like Land Rover Defender, Range Rover and Jaguar XJ that have been used both on-screen as well as production support vehicles.
Talking about this, Co-Producer Andrew Noakes, a veteran of 11 James Bond films, said, “Bond is quintessentially British and Jaguar and Land Rover are two of the most established and globally recognized British brands, so it was a natural step for us to involve them in the film.”

“Skyfall” is directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig as Bond, Dame Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Bérénice Marlohe, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Albert Finney.
