Michael Boneham To Retire As President Of Ford India

After having a successful career at Ford, Mr. Michael Boneham has elected to retire as President of Ford India. Mr. Boneham has served in various positions at Ford in a career spanning 27 years. He started his career with Human Resource Development department at Ford Australia and has worked in top positions in general management and manufacturing department in Europe, North America and Ford Asia Pacific and Africa.

During his career as president and MD, Ford India has seen many milestones including the success of Ford Figo. Mr. Michael Boneham was also successful in bringing US$ 1 billion investment to the new manufacturing unit of Ford India at Sanand, Gujarat.

Mr. Joginder Singh, who is president and managing director of Ford Businesses Service Center would be taking up the position as president and MD for Ford India starting from 1st December, 2012. Mr. Singh has been working with Ford since 1980 in various top positions of finance and general management divisions. Under the administration of Mr. Joginder Singh eight new cars from Ford are expected within a period of a decade. Two SUVs, namely Eco Sport and new Endeavour are upcoming cars from Ford for 2013.
