All-New Chevrolet Spark Is Set To Hit The Indian Roads

The all-new Chevrolet Spark from the stables of General Motors has been launched in India. The car is loaded with many features and is available with an option of petrol and LPG engine. The car flaunts various updated sporty and stylish features. It is available in five variants and the price ranges from Rs. 3.26 lakhs to 4.10 lakhs. It is available in six vibrant colours; Velvet Red, Caviar Black, Linen Beige, Sandrift Grey, Summit White and Misty Lake.

The Chevrolet Spark is equipped with an economical S-Tec, 995 cc petrol engine that churns out 62 bhp @ 5400 rpm and delivers a torque of 90.3 Nm @ 4200 rpm. The engine comprises of a number of innovative new features like a Dual Distributor-Less Ignition System (DDLI), Sequential MPFI, an Advanced Optical Sensor and a Motorized Throttle Intake System (MTIS).

The LPG variants of Chevrolet Spark is equipped with a sequential injection-type LPG kit which offers good fuel economy, better power and pick-up, lower emissions and low running cost. The Spark gets a redesigned cockpit with a local flair. The interior is luxurious and spacious with many smart storage spaces. The instruments on the dashboard display analogue and digital displays.

The Chevrolet Spark is loaded with many advanced safety features. Fifty-one percent of the body weight comprises of high-strength steel which provides great rigidity and stability and also lowers the weight. The optimized links between the sills and B-pillar help in reducing the side impact. The other sibling Chevrolet Spark 800 would be launched in the mid of 2013.

The Spark comes with a three year/100,000 km standard warranty.
