Keeping in tune with the trend of launching new cars in India during the festive season, General Motors rolled out its big festive bonanza — the face-lifted Chevrolet Spark on 25th October, 2012. The refreshed Spark will now be available in five variants and six vibrant hues.
Besides a high and mighty four-cylinder 1.0-litre S-Tec petrol engine that comes with many new-age innovations like Sequential MPFI, a Dual Distributor-Less Ignition System (DDLI), a Motorized Throttle Intake System (MTIS) and an Advanced Optical Sensor, the new Chevrolet Spark gets plenty of stylish upgrades, both on the outside and within.
On the exterior, the new Chevy Spark gets re-profiled front and rear bumpers, a new split honeycomb grille with chrome inserts, a bigger Chevy bow-tie emblem and new fog lamps. On the inside, the car gets trendy premium upholstery, new door pad design, “wing-inspired” speedometer and instruments a double-DIN audio system with USB and Bluetooth.
All the design changes were done at General Motors’ technical centre in Bangalore. The car is priced from Rs. 3.26 lakh onwards.
