With heavy competition in the auto market, Skoda had announced discounts on few of its models weeks ago. The company has now decided to reduce some of these discounts. One of the highest selling cars from the portfolio of Czech auto maker, the Skoda Fabia comes to market with no discounts. Skoda Rapid, Skoda Laura and other models retain few attractive offers that they had earlier while cutting down on others.
The company is basically relying on its brand image and the technical strengths of its products. Skoda India has also managed to see gradual increase in sales during the current year. This has given confidence to the company and Skoda is planning to follow different ideas to increase its share in the Indian market.
