Nissan India Registers A hike of 88 Percent

Nissan India has reported a year-to-date sales hike of 88 percent. The numbers of units sold from April to October this year are 23642 whereas 12570 units were sold in the same period last year. The domestic sales for October 2012 are 1862 units.

Contributing largely to the sales are the locally produced hatchback Micra, Sunny, Teana and 370Z sports car. For Evalia, orders are underway.
Mr. Nitish Tipnis, Director-Marketing & Sales, Hover Automotive India (HAI), Nissan's sole and exclusive distributor in India, said, "Our overall sales volume trend is extremely encouraging and we anticipate increased demand following our recently launched festive offers where in customer has a weekly opportunity to get refund on the purchase and winning 500 gms of gold."

Last month Nissan has declared the launch of the special edition Micra 'PRIMO'. The limited edition of this car characterizes two years of successful association with the brand ambassador Ranbir Kapoor by offering a list of stylish features that includes elegant 'PRIMO' body decals on a pearl white body color, aesthetic LED lights with ORVM mirrors, rear parking sensors with indicators, remote controlled outside rear view mirrors and double-DIN premium audio system with USB port. The Primo is available in four variants XL, XV petrol and XV, XV premium diesel. It is priced at Rs. 22,000 higher than the standard Nissan Micra.
Nissan provides top level after-sales support with round-the-clock assistance.
