Tata Motors Worldwide Wholesales Up By 6 Percent

Tata Motors, The largest automobile company of India, has reported a global wholesale (including Jaguar Land Rover) of 100,660 units in October 2012 which depicts an increase of 6 percent as compared to the sales in the month of October 2011. The cumulative wholesales have been reported as 679,051 units which is 7 percent higher as compared to the corresponding period in 2011-2012.

The worldwide wholesales of all the commercial vehicles which include Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range has been reported to be 51,396 units in October 2012 which is higher by 19 percent as compared to that in October 2011. The cumulative wholesales have been 334,941 units for the fiscal which is 4 percent over October 2011.
In October 2012, the global wholesales of all passenger vehicles were 49,264 units (lower by 5 percent) and the cumulative wholesales were 344,110 units for the fiscal which is higher by 10 percent.

For Tata passenger vehicles the global wholesales were 21,367 units in October 2012 (lower by 17 percent over October 2011) and the cumulative wholesales were flat at 155,319 units.

The global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 27,897 vehicles in the month of October 2012 which depicts a 7 percent increase in the sales as compared to the sales in October 2011..

in October 2012, the wholesales for Jaguar were 3,339 units and for Land Rover the wholesales were 3,339 units. The cumulative wholesales of Jaguar were 24,945 units whereas cumulative wholesales of Land Rover were 163,846 units. For the fiscal, the cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 188,791 vehicles which depicts an increase by 21 percent.
