2012 has been a good year for Audi so far. The company had set a target to sell 8000 cars by the end of current year. It has reached the target well before end of this year. Selling 805 cars during November 2012, Audi has sold totally 8072 units of cars during 11 months period of current year, starting from January.

With sales target being met, the firm has reset its yearly goal for 2012 to 8600 units. Audi has seen improvement in sales during 2012 when compared to previous year. The monthly sales figure came up to 425 units during November month of 2011(which is a little more than half of sales figure of November 2012). Statistically, Audi has seen 63.3 percent growth in sales during 11 months of this year when compared to same months of previous year.

Luxury sedan models like Audi A6 and Audi A4 are doing well for the company by selling in good numbers. Audi aims at becoming the leader of luxury car segment by 2015. It is facing tough competition from BMW, Mercedes Benz and Jaguar. With models like Audi A3 and A5 expected from the German brand, the competition gets heated up during 2013, when rival auto makers bring in their small fancy wagons.
