Rolex To Tick Time For Formula One Racing From 2013

Luxury watch manufacturer, Rolex is all set to become the official time keeper and time piece provider for Formula One Grand Prix from 2013. As a pioneer in watch making, the brand Rolex also promotes adventure and sports activities. Rolex currently has tied up with one of the major series in motor sports, Formula One. During each event of 2013 F1 Grand Prix, Rolex will display time at the location where race takes place. The logo of watch maker will be displayed in various positions of the circuit.

Speaking about this partnership, Mr. Gian Riccardo Marini, CEO of Rolex SA said, “This is an exciting step for us at Rolex as the fit between Formula One and our brand feels very natural and, like all great partnerships, needs little explanation. Rolex has been supporting motor sports since 1930s through associations with major racers like, Sir Malcolm Campbell and Sir Jackie Stewart. In the recent times Rolex is much more active in motor sports world. It has been the official time keeper for Les 24 Heures du Mans, which is a well known sports car event that takes place in France.
