The dominant SUV from Japanese auto manufacturer launched during March of 2012, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is titled the ‘Off Roader of the year 2012’ from reputed automobile magazine Top Gear, which is published by BBC. Powered by a 2.5L turbocharged diesel engine which churns out 176 bhp, Mitsubishi Pajero has tough characteristics which are desirable for an off road vehicle.
Mitsubishi recently started assembling Pajero Sport in India through its Indian partner Hindustan Motors. The successful SUV won the award, ‘Off Roader of the Year 2012’, beating many competent rivals in the market. Speaking about this achievement of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Mr. Uttam Bose, Managing Director, Hindustan Motors Ltd said, “This award is yet another endorsement of Pajero Sport’s invincibility across all terrains, especially the rough and tough one. This mighty sport utility vehicle, which has the unique distinction of having won the world’s toughest car contest – Dakar Rally – consecutively for 13 times, is a testimony to the strong collaboration between Hindustan Motors and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation of Japan.”
Top Gear magazine called Mitsubishi Pajero Sport a reliable vehicle pointing out at its driving qualities. These qualities come to play when SUVs are taken to locations where there are no roads.
