Mercedes-Benz has been ranked as #1 auto brand in India by Economic Times Brand Equity’s Most Exciting Brands annual study. Mercedes- Benz has also occupied the 9th position for being the most exciting brand in India across all categories.
Brand Equity and Neilson have proposed a new annual research property the “Brand Equity’s Most Exciting Brands”. It interacts directly with the youth to discover the brands that fit into the bandwidth of capturing the imagination of the fickle, tough to impress customers. The results show such brands that can be tagged as the buzziest, trendiest and the most exciting one in India.
Commenting on this, Mr. Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO Mercedes-Benz India, said, "Mercedes-Benz invented the automobile back in 1886 and even today, is the most aspirational brand amongst the Indian youth. This is the clear verdict that the research has confirmed.
