Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) has hit another laudable milestone. This South Korean based car giant with a strong digital presence has successfully touched one million fan base on their official Facebook page.
Gladdened by the staggering response, Hyundai has decided to mark this momentous feat and express their heartfelt gratitude towards their millions of fans by launching an innovative, interactive ‘One in a Million’ application on their Facebook page.
As per the application, the company’s Facebook page redirects the fans to a striking collage comprising of the thumbnail images of each fan among the million put together in the logo of Hyundai that can also be downloaded as cover photos, wallpapers, mobile images, etc. This is Hyundai’s special way to thank each fan in the page as they are truly ‘One in a Million’.
To heighten the excitement, the company has also launched a contest alongside the application that requires the fans to complete the statement: ‘I am one in a million fan of brilliance because...’ The lucky winners of the contest can expect exciting prizes in return.
Besides boosting consumer engagement, this idea successfully lives up to the brand’s philosophy of enabling people to live their own ‘Moments of Brilliance’.
