Tata seem to have come out with the perfect makeover for their premium SUV. The company unveiled its Safari Storme in October, 2012. The new car is the improvised version of the Safari which is an iconic model produced from the marque. Safari has been a grand success and this new model had much to do, to live up to the expectation of consumers which go by the fame of its cousin. The car has got good reception with over 6000 bookings since the time of its launch. The auto maker launched this classy SUV in South India, yesterday. Tata has shelled out money to improve this model and give it this new form. The company believes that, this new premium SUV will not hurt the position of its Crossover, Tata Aria.
The auto maker has put the technically equipped 2.2L VARICOR engine under the hood of Safari Storme. This engine uses sophisticated technologies like the Variable Turbine Technology and Electronically controlled fuel injection to produce high power. The 4x4 drive system with 200 mm ground clearance exhibits go anywhere attitude. The company has also added some top-class features in the interior which make the Storme stand apart from its cousin. Wenge wood inserts around beige coloured cabin, soft touch dashboard design and leather upholstery enrich the cabin to call the car a premium SUV. This fully loaded vehicle holds a price tag in the range Rs 9.95 lakh to Rs 14 lakh in Southern States of India.
