Indian auto giant, Maruti Suzuki has brought out its highest selling people mover, the Omni, in new form. The auto marque has fit in some additional equipment into its Omni and has rolled out the vehicle as a limited edition model. This new version will have a base price of about Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 2.7 lakh.
The limited edition Omni gets outside rear view mirror on left side of the vehicle. The auto maker has used new floor mats and dual-tone upholstery for seats to improve the quality of the vehicle’s interior. Maruti Suzuki has also fit a new audio system in this car, which comprises of four speakers and a CD player.
Maruti Suzuki Omni is a vehicle used for multiple purposes in India. The company offers this car in different variants which include cargo, ambulance and passenger use. Its versatility has made it stand for a period of 28 years in Indian market. It has an engine of 796 cc capacity and is available in 5-seater and 8-seater options. Four-gear manual shift unit comes as transmission system for this vehicle. The car is fuel-efficient and practical in terms of cabin space.
The auto major had launched its facelift version of Wagon R last week. The car has come out with some changes on its face and its engine is tuned for better fuel economy. The company may launch its compact Grand Vitara and crossover model of SX4 in the years to come.
