Young Transport Entrepreneurs at IIM Ahmedabad Trained By Mahindra

Mahindra has announced the launch of a pioneering initiative ‘MPOWER’ for young transport entrepreneurs. The 14 days management development program is specially designed as per the requirements of the young transport entrepreneurs with IIM-Ahmedabad as the knowledge partner. The program will help in professionalizing the Indian Trucking Industry through this learning initiative.

The MPOWER program started on 23rd Jan, 2013. It is a 14 day course and will conclude on 5th Feb.2013. The first batch comprises of 30 youth transport entrepreneur. The program includes external workshops and field visits. Special guest lectures by industry experts have been organized by Mahindra to provide better awareness of the domain development and current trends.

While speaking on this occasion, Mr. Nalin Mehta, CEO and Managing Director, Mahindra Navistar Automotives Limited, said, “Mahindra has resolved to be the change agent in the Indian commercial vehicle industry.
