Tata Motors launched its Vista hatchback in new form few days ago. Tata Vista D90, which was rolled out with a basic price tag of Rs 5.99 lakh, is powerful, plush and carries some top-class comfort features which are part of cars from European brands. The Indian auto marque took this new vehicle a step ahead to bring out Vista D90 Xtreme. This car, which is displayed as a concept model by the company, is sportier, more powerful and has design traits which give it unique identity.
The black cladding surrounding the underbody of the car and the rugged roof rails create a major difference in terms of aesthetics feel of the Vista D90 Concept. Black mesh covers the front grille area and air inlet in front bumper. Air vents are carved on the bonnet and on both corners of front bumper. The rear of the car has a spare wheel fit at the center. An arm coming out of the rear bumper holds this wheel. The suspension system of the car is modified to give higher ground clearance. Like the Vista D90, this vehicle gets the 1.3L Quadrajet motor from Fiat, but with higher output. The power generated from the motor of this concept vehicle stands up to 104 bhp.
There are speculations in the auto market on whether this concept will hit the production line. With European brands gearing up to roll out their sports hatchbacks, Punto Abarth and Polo GTD, there are possibilities that Tata takes the Xtreme to its production lines.
