After introducing the automatic version of the Brio, Honda is now all geared up to launch a top-end variant of its best-selling hatch, called the VX. The new trim is expected to hit the stores sometime in April 2013. Honda is looking forward to boost the sales of the Brio with this big step.
The new variant is expected to get a slew of additional features like driver seat height adjustment and a rear de-fogger. However, Honda has decided to give the rear wiper a miss in this case.
The compact hatchback currently has 6 variants of which E, EX, S and V are mated to a five-speed manual transmission while S and V variants boast of best-in-class five-speed automatic transmission. The Brio offers impressive features like ABS+EBD, airbags and more and also boasts mind-blowing fuel efficiency.
The new Honda Brio trim will be more of an update. So don’t expect to see any mechanical changes there. The new Brio will be powered by the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that spins out the maximum power output of 88bhp and 110Nm of torque.
