The French auto manufacturer is continuing to have a successful run with its model Renault Duster in India. The February 2013 sales figures for Renault touched 6,723 units. In comparison with sales figures of same month of previous year the company has seen a growth of over nine folds. Renault managed to sell 673 units during February 2012.
The Renault Duster continued its winning streak, receiving accolades from customers and industry experts alike, making it India’s Most Awarded Car. Moreover, with recognitions for Scala and Pulse as well as being named Manufacturer of the Year, Renault India has won an impressive 31 awards so far.
Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Renault India Pvt. Ltd. spoke about the growth in sales and said, “Renault’s continuing growth in India is a reflection of the increasing acceptance among customers as a strong player in the country’s automotive space. With the enthusiastic response we have received through industry awards for our products, I am confident Renault will continue to grow as a trusted and recognized brand in India.”
Renault India sold a total of 6,723 units, with the Duster accounting for 5,590 units, the Scala 620 units, Pulse 420 units, Fluence 65 units and Koleos 28 units.
