Country’s renowned electric vehicle brand, Mahindra Reva announced that it has partnered Gopalan Mall in Bengaluru region to install charging stations at malls spread across the city. With this partnership, Mahindra Reva has expanded its charging points in Bengaluru to 100 stations. The EV manufacturer is in alliance with other businesses like State Bank of India, automotive garages, M&M dealerships, Mom & Me retail shops for this purpose. Mahindra Reva claims that charging points are strategically located and one can find a charging station for every five kilometres in Bengaluru. Growing demand for EVs across the country coupled with good infrastructure for charging stations in Bengaluru has made it the capital of EV in India. Bengaluru is also a city with highest number of electric vehicles.
