Moto Guzzi — a wing of the Italian scooter giant Piaggio group, recently launched its Bellagio in India. This is the second offering from the premium motorcycle manufacturer after the company made its debut in Indian with the Greso 1200 8V that was launched sometime last year. The Bellagio comes with a whopping price tag of Rs. 15.2 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurgaon).
The bike is powered by a four-stroke, air-cooled, 935cc V-twin engine that makes a healthy 73 bhp and 78 Nm of torque. The motor is mated to six-speed transmission.
The booking for this premium bike has already started at the Northwards Motors, which is the only dealership of Moto Guzzi in India. The bike will be only available in black colour and the waiting period of it is expected to be up to six weeks.
As per Moto Guzzi officials, India’s response towards the brand has been good so far with the dealership registering quite a few sales. The Bellagio will take on superbikes like the Ducati Streetfighter and the premium Harley-Davidson CKD models.
