Maruti Suzuki SX4 Rolled Out with Refreshed Looks and Features

The midsize saloon of Maruti Suzuki, the SX4 has had a tough time since past few years in Indian auto market. The sales of this premium sedan has been declining since quite a long time and owing to this the company now has come out with a new version of SX4. The company has uplifted the exterior and interior and has made some changes to the powertrain to make it more fuel efficient.

The 1.3L turbocharged diesel engine and 1.6L petrol engine now deliver the same power as prior but they have been tuned to provide better mileage as compared to the previous version. It is stated that the new engines can have rated mileage which is 6 percent higher than the previous model. The petrol model has a rated fuel economy of 16.5 kmpl while the diesel car comes with a company claimed mileage of 21.79 kmpl.

The interior of Maruti Suzuki SX4 has been altered to look and feel classier. The dashboard now gets black and beige colour combination and the door panels get unique cubic printing on wood-finish trims. Chrome finishing is provided to various areas including AC vents and door handles. Touchscreen navigations system is another feature in the new SX4.

On the exterior the SX4 now has turn indicators on the outside rear-view mirrors, newly designed chrome accentuated front grille and dual coloured front bumper. With addition of two new colours namely Serene Blue and Granite Grey the car is now available in six colour options.
