New Range of Mahindra Motorcycles to Hit the Market This Year

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL) is planning to launch an array of two-wheelers this year. The company has sold 1,01,551 scooters from April 2012 to March 2013 and 5,398 units were sold in March 2013.Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. is rapidly expanding its portfolio. Last year, Mahindra launched the Duro DZ and Rodeo RZ range of scooters, with advanced Z-Series engine. This year will see the launch of their new motorcycle range - the Mahindra Pantero and the Mahindra Centuro. The entire range will come with advanced technology engines developed at the company’s state-of-art R&D Centre in Pune.

Viren Popli, Executive Vice President – Strategy and Market Development, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, “We are excited about the launch of our new motorcycle range, which bear testimony to our intent of designing truly differentiated products at our state-of-the-art R&D centre. The unique, exciting features on the new Mahindra Pantero and Mahindra Centuro are sure to delight consumers.”

The cumulative scooter sales for the company have crossed a landmark figure of four lakh units.

Mahindra 2 Wheelers’ has a full range of powerful 125 cc scooters catering to distinct consumer segments. The Mahindra Duro DZ is positioned as a `ROMBA SOLID’, family scooter, while the new Mahindra Rodeo RZ with its very innovative, contemporary features is sure to enthuse young, modern couples. The Flyte is the Indian woman’s two-wheeler of choice.
