Xtreme Drive from Tata Displays the Potential of Safari Storme

Tata Motors has launched an event to showcase the capabilities of its executive off-roader, the Safari Storme. Xtreme Drive, which was launched in Mumbai few days ago, is a programme where the SUV is driven over artificially built setups to show how it performs on uneven roads and under critical conditions. The event allows people to drive Safari Storme in these simulated conditions in the presence of experienced professionals and sense the capabilities of the four-wheel drive off-roader.

Xtreme Drive is scheduled to take place in Mumbai between 26th April 2013 and 2nd June 2013. The company has built setups like ‘See-Saw’, ‘Dwindler’, ‘Rumblers’ and ‘Bumble Bee’ for this customised off-road track. Mr. Ranjit Yadav, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors was present during the launch of this programme. Through this event the company wants people to experience the capabilities of Safari Storme which is a go-anywhere kind of automobile. The car couples technology, performance, style and comfort which are desired by automobile enthusiasts of today.

Earlier in April 2013 the company had bagged “Indian Multinational of the Year” award for its excellence in automotive domain. The award was presented to the company by Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Honourable President of India at New Delhi on 11th, April 2013.
