Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has reported sales of 8,488 vehicles in April 2013 as compared to 7,075 units sold in the corresponding month last year. With the launch of Amaze in April 2013, the automaker has reported a growth of 20 percent.
HCIL is the leading producer of passenger cars in India with two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities at Tapukara, Rajasthan and Greater Noida, U.P.
The company has sold 1,628 units of Brio, 4,852 units of Amaze, 1,917 units of City, 33 Accords and 58 units of CRV last month. The total domestic sales have been 8488 units and 182 vehicles were exported in April 2013.
