The Italian sports car maker, Lamborghini, celebrated its 50th anniversary in one of the biggest events of its lifetime. The Grand Tour where 350 Lamborghinis from all around the world participated in a convoy which took place between 8th of May and 11th of May received a grand finale at Sant’Agata Bolognese. Head of Design of Volkswagen Group, Walter De Silva paid homage for Lamborghini which is his favourite automobile marque by introducing one of the most awaited cars from the house of Raging Bull, the Lamborghini Egoista. The designer explained the aim with which the supercar is built and described the personality of this vehicle. It is a car which is built out of passion, engineered to cheer one person and just one. The drive is designed to induce extreme levels of pleasure without compromising on any aspect. The word Egoista in Italian means selfishness and according to the designer the character of the automobile truly fits this name.

Lamborghini Egoista is an entirely unique concept in itself with some features which do not fail to raise the eyebrows of car consumers. The cockpit of the car is made of carbon fibre and comes as a detachable unit with the automobile. The designers have picked this idea after being inspired by aeronautical engineering. The vehicle can seat just one person and the interior is fabricated just like an aircraft with the driver having to come out from the top of the vehicle.
