Now the long wait for Ford EcoSport is finally over. The compact SUV from the auto major Ford has hit the Indian roads today. The three C’s in the new SUV makes it more desirable – ‘Compact, Contemporary and Capable.' Ford is very happy to bring the “Best of Ford” to Indian lover consumers. The new EcoSport is made available in 10 variants across four trims and comes with three engine and seven colours.
The powerful 1.0-litre EcoBoost, is one of the first 1.0L engine fitted to an SUV in India. Ford EcoSport's 1.0L turbo petrol motor with 3-cylinders produces about 122 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque. Ford EcoSport has also introduced its automatic variant. The 1.0L diesel engine too delivers attractive fuel efficiency. The car will be available in four trims - Ambiente 1.5L Ti-VCT (MT Petrol), Ambiente 1.5 TDCi (MT/Diesel), Titanium 1.0L EcoBoost and Titanium 1.5L TiVCT with Powershift (AT/Petrol). The four trims will be available in the range of Rs. 5.59 lakh - Rs. 8.45 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Ford EcoSport is equipped with desirable features such as Bluetooth, Aux, Ford's voice-enabled in-car connectivity system, USB connectivity, power steering, electric ORVMs with indicators etc.
