Renault Celebrates the Second Anniversary of Its Indian Innings

French car manufacturer, Renault India is celebrating its second anniversary on 5th, 6th and 7th of July by coming out with gifts and benefit schemes for its customers. The company is offering gifts worth Rs. 2 crore through its authorised dealerships across the nation. Customers can take home these gifts and can avail some benefits from insurance and exchange plans by booking a car at authorised showroom of the marque.

Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Renault India Pvt. Ltd. spoke about the occasion to say, “The Anniversary marks two years since the launch of the Renault Brand in India and since then, Renault has grown to include a family of over 80,000 happy customers. The celebrations are an opportunity for us to thank our customers for their enthusiasm and acceptance of Renault cars and we look forward to sharing our happiness and pride in our achievements to the nation as well.”

The company believes that its success can be attributed to increase in brand awareness of Renault in the country. The sales of the marque have grown by 8 times when sales figures of June 2013 are compared to sales output of same period of previous year. The auto maker currently has about 100 dealerships in India which have both showrooms and service stations.
