Ford EcoSport Reports 30,000 Bookings in Just 17 Days

Recently launched Ford EcoSport has proved that it was worth the wait for auto customers in India. Booking of the new EcoSport has reached 30,000 in just 17 days of its launch. The SUV offered attractive value proposition to the Indian consumers. Enquiries about the new SUV have grown tremendously. Ford is putting efforts to reduce the wait period for the SUV delivery.

Joginder Singh, president and managing director, Ford India told, “We had high expectations of the Ford EcoSport and the unabated response post the launch has been truly gratifying. Consumers are appreciating the value-for-money proposition that we are offering in the EcoSport’s compelling and smart package. We thank our customers for their overwhelming response and appreciate their patience. The Ford India team is working closely with the suppliers at our Chennai facility to enhance output of the EcoSport to reduce the waiting period and to meet the high demand.”

Launched on 26th June this year, at a competitive starting price of Rs. 5.59 lakh, the Ford EcoSport has been increasingly attracted interest of serious buyers from various demographics in India. The SUV is available in 10 variants, comes in four trim level, and seven colour options. Ford EcoSport comes with three engine options and wide array of useful features like the Ford SYNC and Emergency Assistance. The SUV also brings globally acclaimed EcoBoost technology along with patented 1.0L EcoBoost engine delivering amazing performance on road. Made fuel efficient the petrol variant runs 18.9 kmpl and the diesel variant gives a mileage of 22.7 kmpl.
