Porsche 918 Spyder Debuted at Goodwood Festival of Speed

The super sports car Porsche 918 Spyder made its public debut at the 20th Goodwood Festival of Speed. Porsche 918 Spyder brings immense power under its hood, with great performance potential. The car brings Porsche idea of providing excellent drive versatility, maximum performance capacity with minimum fuel consumption. Powered by 4.6L 8-cylinder engine, the car spews 612 bhp of power and mated to 7-speed Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) ensuring smooth and worry-free driving. Developed by expert engineers, the Porsche 918 Spyder exhibits next generation hybrid drive system with super efficiency and high performance.

Featuring Porsche Active Aerodynamic (PAA), the sports car ensures unique and variable aerodynamics. The car’s layout is automatically varied over three different modes (Race mode, Sport mode and E-Power mode) ranging from optimal efficiency to maximum downforce and tuned to the operating modes of the hybrid drive system. The Porsche 918 Spyder is built with such great efficiency and performance capability that it can break many records in the future. The prototype of the vehicle is 20 seconds quicker than the Porsche Carrera GT. In totality, the plug-in sports car brings maximum driving fun with minimum fuel consumption.
